Fassbinder NOW (engl.)
The catalogue, which is more than 300 pages long, offers an opportunity to delve deeper into the exhibition: several compilations of excerpts from Fassbinder's films illustrate his themes and his enormous repertoire of aesthetic techniques. These are compared with the works of six contemporary video artists. In addition, the exhibits provided by the Rainer Werner Fassbinder Foundation Berlin, the exhibition's cooperation partner – scripts, documents, correspondence, notes, photos – offer insights into Fassbinder's thinking and working methods.
